JM is privileged to have successfully initiated its first Orphanage Summer English Program (OSEP). Ten volunteer teachers from the US and UK have finished 8 weeks living and teaching English full time at three children's homes in Seoul. It is hoped this will become an annual service and will further solidify JM's reputation for quality and professionalism in Seoul City. Get to know the OSEP teams; read updates and see pictures on their blogs, as well as final reflections on their experiences.
JM successfully completed its first citywide children's-home youth soccer camp in August, 2008. Over forty youth from six children's homes in Seoul city gathered at the Han Riverside Park to spend three days of athletic instruction, organized competition, summer camp games, and of course swimming! JM volunteers sought to share the love of Jesus through fair coaching, physical play, and exemplary sportsmanship.
